PUSD is in alpha. Borrow caps are low while we test, and things may change. Read this before you open a loan.

What admins can do
Limits, caps and the whitelist can change while PUSD is in early access.
Known risks and limitations
| Risk | What it means |
|---|---|
| Price falls | If your collateral’s price falls far enough, the loan can be liquidated and you pay a penalty. Keep room under the max LTV. |
| Price feeds | Limits depend on the price the program reads. A wrong or delayed price could cause a liquidation that shouldn’t happen, or block one that should. |
| The peg | PUSD can trade above or below $1. If you need to sell, you may get less than a dollar. |
| Liquidity | The PUSD pool can only fill swaps up to its size. Large swaps, or a top-up when closing a loan, may need to be split or may not go through. |
| LSTs | An LST can trade below the SOL it represents, which moves your LTV even when SOL doesn’t. |
| Tokenized stocks | Prices can jump while the US market is closed, when liquidation is paused. The token also depends on its issuer. |
| Stake | Rewards depend on your validator’s performance. Stake comes out of a loan in stake accounts of at least 1 SOL. |
| Stability vault | Deposits are used in liquidations. If one goes badly, the vault may take a loss. |
| --- | --- |
| Smart contracts | The PUSD program could have bugs. Funds in loans and in the stability vault depend on it working as intended. |
| Early access | Limits, caps and the whitelist can change while PUSD is in early access. |
